Alps, Rivers and a bicycle
In August 2012 we traveled by bicycle across Austria. From Linz through the Alps of Steiermark and down to Graz during our Destination Dubrovnic tour. If you haven’t yet taken the chance to visit Austria by bike, make sure you put it high on your list. Austria is a gem. The people are warm and friendly, the food is great and the scenery is spectacular. Add to that one of the best organized systems of bicycle routes we’ve seen to date, easy comfortable camping & lodging and we think that Austria might be one of the best cycling destinations in Europe.
